- Safeguards the rights of downtown Evanston residents
- Partners with commercial/business owners toward a
downtown that promotes beneficial residential life with
vibrant economic activity - Develops pro-residential positions on issues relating to
zoning, development, and special events - Monitors development activity in downtown Evanston
- Collaborates with alderpersons and city staff on
development and land use issues - Addresses appropriately proposed legislation affecting
the downtown residents specifically, and the broader
Evanston community of residents
